| About: | Norman was born and raised in Virginia. However, his maternal grandparents were from Durham and they always told him that if he moved to North Carolina he would want to stay. They were right- he's been here since 1980, serving churches in Orange County and Elon before coming to Temple in 1999. Norman earned degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University, the University of Tennessee, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was an elementary school teacher and an administrator with Social Security prior to his call into the pastoral ministry. Norman and wife Judy have two grown sons living in the state. They also have a big hairy dog named Kirby! |
