Assist those affected through prayer and giving
We are all grieving the devastation caused by the 7.0 earthquake in Haiti. Cooperative Baptist Fellowship is acting quickly to dispatch personnel and resources. CBF missionaries Nancy and Steve James have been working in Haiti and were actually attending a conference in the United States when the earthquake hit. They will be returning to Haiti this week. CBF will channel its response through the James’s and other partners. While not a first responder in such disasters, CBF will focus its efforts on making a long-term impact on the affected region. If you would like to make a financial contribution you can do that in several ways. CBF’s website (www.thefellowship.info) has an easy way to make a donation online. You can also give a check here at church- make the check out to Temple Baptist Church and write “Haiti Relief” in the memo line and we will send one check to CBF. And please be in prayer for the victims of this terrible event.No messages have been posted.
