Urban Ministries Opportunities

We have had a wonderful response to our plan to provide meals at Urban Ministries on Monday nights through the end of 2009. This is the way it will work: On the first Sunday of each month, copies of a casserole recipe will be available for you to take home to cook. You may bring your cooked casserole and store in the freezer by the following Sunday.
We need 10 casseroles to be prepared for each meal.
We also will need 10 desserts that will serve 24 people prepared and returned to the church to go with the casseroles. Please pick up a pan from the church on the first Sunday and prepare brownies or sheet cake. Bring to church on the following Sunday.
Sign-up sheets are locared in front of the office for preparing a casserole or dessert. Just sign your name under the date and type of food you wish to prepare.
There is a second sign-up sheet for those who wish to actually go to Urban Ministries to serve meals. Sign up for Monday night, or choose to help out with a breakfast or lunch. Just sign the apprpriate list.
