Hurricane Florence Relief Efforts

All proceeds from the October 5 Fish Fry will go to support relief and rebuilding efforts from Hurricane Florence through NC Baptists on Mission, also known as NC Baptist Men.

Temple Baptist Church is a drop-off center for “in-kind” donations for victims of Hurricane Florence.  These donations will be delivered by North Carolina Baptists on Mission (Baptist Men) to families impacted by the devastating hurricane that struck our state in September.  The following items are needed:

  1. Canned foods
  2. Baby supplies – diapers, formula
  3. Hygiene products – toothpaste, toothbrush, wash cloth, soap, shampoo, conditioner, feminine hygiene products, mouthwash
  4. Cleaning supplies – bleach, sponges, buckets, cleaning brushes, brooms, mops, face masks, 55 gallon heavy duty trash bags, rubber gloves

If you would be willing to donate any of the items from the four categories above, you are welcome to bring these items to Temple Baptist Church, 2121 Umstead Road, during the following hours:

Mondays 8 AM – 6 PM

Tuesdays 8:30 AM – 3 PM

Wednesdays 8:30 AM – 7 PM

Thursdays 8 AM – 6 PM

Sundays 9:30 AM – 12 PM

Items will be delivered to the Baptists on Mission Disaster Relief Center in Red Springs, NC on a regular basis to insure timely delivery to those in need.  Thank you for helping those who are facing great tragedy and loss, and please keep all of the victims and the relief workers in your prayers.
